A prominent lawyer is dead Cherry Charles Beausoliel, who was known to many Dominicans as “Bo” because of his size, died here last Friday at the age of 81, he was born in St. Vincent, grew up in St Lucia, and was called to the bar in the late 1940’s in Dominica, where he lived until his death on Friday 25 October.
Members of the Dominica Bar Association paid tribute to the prominent lawyer at a function which was presided over by Judge Odel Adams. Contributions came from numerous lawyers paying tribute to Cherry Charles Beausoliel at the High Court ceremony on Monday morning.
Attorney at Law and close friend of Mr. Beausoliel Julien Johnson said, the legal profession has lost a man of tremendous integrity and he will be sadly missed.
Attorneys Don Christopher, Tony Astaphan, Jennor Amour, Henry Dyer, Alix Boyde Knight, and Judge Odel Adams who spoke at Monday’s function, also paid tribute to their late colleague.
