Bishop of the Peoples Pentecostal Church and President of the Dominica Association of Evangelical Churches, Michael Bill Daniel has gone to glory.
Bishop Daniel, who had been battling with cancer for a while now, lost the battle some time this morning.
In 2012, the Bishop was awarded the Meritorious Service Award, for his ministry to the citizens of the Commonwealth of Dominica.
Bishop Daniel began his ministry at the age of 14 and has served many churches across Dominica from that time onwards.
He was privileged to serve as a member of the General Council of the Pentecostal Assemblies, of the West Indies Dominica District and General Secretary of the Pentecostal Assemblies, of the West Indies Dominica District.
In his life here on earth, he constructed a playground in the Stock Farm area for the youth, school feeding program for the students at the Goodwill Primary School and ministered to the people of Dominica for over 35 years.
For those who knew him he will surely be missed, may his soul rest in peace.
